barrioThe weather is warming up and you know what that means... everyone in Columbus is looking for a drink and a place to drink it on. Well if you want a Happy Hour that's full of flavor with deals on food and drinks, Barrio will be your new favorite spot. Oozing with a laid-back cool, Barrio sits on the corner of Spring and High Street downtown. The amazing interior is romantic, modern and hip all at once especially in nice weather their bar area has large windows that can fully open, so it's like being outside when you're inside! Check out what we thought of their Happy Hour in our video review!

Barrel44_SCRNSTLike a little warmth in your chest, want to grow some hairs on chin or just tired of clear alcohol? Barrel 44 Whiskey Bar can help you with all of that.... okay maybe not the growing hair on your chin thing but you will certainly feel manly after trying some of Barrel 44's signature whiskey drinks. Thankfully this Short North bar has a delicious menu to help keep you on your feet during their happy hour. Check out what we thought and how well we wetted our whistles in our video review!

Basil_SCRNSTA snowy night in Columbus, OH couldn't hold us back from the fine cuisine of Basil in the Short North. Basil is home to dishes of Thai cuisine with a unique spin on what you may expect. This low-lit restaurant is gorgeous on the interior with a vibe that feels almost from decades ago but modern infusions keep the mood light. We went to check out the happy hour here, $3.95 small plates and half priced beer from 4 to 7. The snow storm almost stopped us from making it during happy hour but we arrived in just enough time to order a few small plates that were awesome to share. Check out the video!

Gooeyz_SCRNSTGooeyz, a new sandwich spot in the South Campus Gateway, describes itself at "lazy, casual, fresh grilled cheese" they forgot to mention delicious. We thought we should try out this new spot after passing it a couple of times in the gateway. We went on a Monday night for a happy hour and were the only customers there so obviously we were gladly welcomed. We hung out upstairs in the "Hideout" which is the bar area of the restaurant. After a few drinks and looking over the menu 10 times we finally decided on what to get. Check out our meals in our video review and some outtake footage below- Fair warning there's PMS talk!

barleyssmokehouseRibs, potatoes, baked beans and beer. Drooling yet? We stopped by Barley's Smokehouse to check out their Happy Hour but we had a little mix up. There are two Barley's locations and we thought we were going to the location that had Happy Hour at 3pm unfortunately we were wrong on the location but thankfully our tardiness worked in our favor. This Barley's location started Happy Hour at 4pm so we read some local periodicals while we waited for about 20 minutes. We salivated over the house-brewed beers and were pretty thankful when 4pm rolled around for the beer specials. Check out how it went once the beer got delivered in the video!
